Fishing on the Kuskokwim River
Locals in the Yukon-Kuskokwim region rely heavily on the annual salmon runs, with most families putting away hundreds of pounds of fish every summer. A healthy river means a thriving community, connecting families and villages to each other and sustaining their traditional ways of life.
