At our Kensington mine in Alaska, we have formed a partnership with the Berners Bay Consortium, which includes three Native corporations, to develop employment and business opportunities. We have also formed industry and educational partnerships for job training, recruitment, and hiring with the Alaska Department of Labor and the University of Alaska Southeast. In addition, the University of Alaska Mining and Petroleum Training Service delivers training and development services to Alaska’s resource industries.
